Friends of the Church- Newsletter

March 9th 2022

I am writing to invite you to this year’s Lent course. It will run on Thursday evenings at 7pm starting this Thursday (10th March). All are welcome to attend whatever your faith and no previous knowledge is needed.

The Course is based on the film, The Greatest Showman. It will be basically a discussion group talking about some of the themes that the film raises. The link to join the sessions is found below. It would be great to see you.

Churchyard Clearout- a reminder

All are welcome to come and help tidy up the churchyard on Saturday 12th March from 10.00-12.30ish. (we will certainly finish in time for the rugby!).
Many hands make light work- please bring gloves, and your own tools if you have them. We will be sweeping, raking, scraping ivy, cutting suckers, etc etc.

...And if anyone would like to join the Mowing Rota and become part of the "Mowing on the Hill" Team, please drop me an email as I'm putting the season's rota together. We ask volunteers to do 2-3 turns a year at cutting the grass on the south side of the church, either side of the path. Existing team members need not reapply- you will be hearing from me..
