We will be running the Christmas Card Amnesty again this year- if you haven’t taken part before, the idea is that instead of writing and exchanging cards to friends in the village, with all the attendant social anxiety of missing someone out and having to send one in return, you may choose to join in this “Amnesty” in aid of charity. Just send me £10 per household via PayPal, (@timtourdesands -please select "Pay Friends or Family" otherwise I pay a fee!) or cash dropped in to 16 Church Street, (not forgetting to put your name on the envelope as you want it to appear) and I’ll publish a list of names via the “What’s on the Hill” list and on a poster in our window before Christmas.

Please send monies BEFORE 18^thDecember so I have a chance to get the list out before Christmas. 

In the past we have donated funds raised to “Tour de Sands” but as we have wound that Charity up, we thought we’d support the MS Society UK in memory of Elspeth Cox, who sadly died this month. I hope everyone agrees this would be a worthy and appropriate cause.

Of course, if you prefer to send real cards, don’t let us stop you!
