Northamptonshire Police Rural Crime Team Engagement Events - Thank You.

Northamptonshire Police Rural Crime Team and Partners have just hosted 3 Rural Engagement Events during February.  A Big "Thank You" to those who Booked and attended the events.  The feedback has been fantastic.  Partners have fed back that the opportunity to engage together across the County was worth while so i'm sure we will be planning future events soon.

Over 300 farmers and landowners attended and got the opportunity to ask any pressing questions to a panel of Key partners during the event.  All partners had a variety of displays highlighting what they do and how they can assist in the Fight against Rural Crime.

The key message was the importance to Report Crime or Suspicious activity.  Reports = Dots on a map.      Dots on a map = Demand     Demand = Resources.     With out your reports of crime, intelligence or suspicious activity, The bigger Picture reflecting the true impact of Rural Crime across Northamptonshire cant be captured.  Please let us filter the reports, not you.  Just because you've posted something on Social Media, Chatted on a WhatsApp Group or told your friend about something, Doesn't mean we know about it.

If its Crime at the time = 999

Anything else = 101 or Online.

During April, our Force Website will have links for you to report Rural Crime direct to us, rather than you going through numerous links.

You also have the option of Crime Stoppers to report information anonymously by calling 0800555111 or via

Fly Tipping.  This needs to be reported to your local Council.  the website addresses are;
