Update on the use of Defibrillators in our Village

It has been some while since Defibrillators were installed around the Village and, at the time, training in the use of them, alongside resuscitation techniques, was taken up by a large proportion of residents. Given the passage of time, now seems a good time to offer refresher sessions on how to react when faced with a seriously ill patient with life threatening symptoms and also revisit the use of the Defibrillators.

Accordingly, arrangements for informal ‘drop-in’ familiarisation sessions have been put in place for Wednesday the 18th September at the Village Hall 4.00 - 6.00pm.

Just pop in between these hours and one of our trainers will guide you through ‘what to do’ when faced with that dire emergency!
